We welcome the return of Christian Doil to Buddhist on Fire.

With sunlight and reflections on a poetic journey. This starts at home in
the glass cabinet, then goes to the sea, in the treetops, in the
microcosm of snow, drop and foam, under a bridge, on a paved path, on
wet road pavement, to the stars, and through the window back in the
glass cabinet. The 16 tracks that cover the light ambient album
reflected on the subject of "light" again. The tunes I played on a kalimba and edited later. Parallel I translate the individual light-themes in the painting.

Thanks and greetings from Mainz / Germany.

My feeling is that as far as creativity is concerned, isolation is required. The creative person is, in any case, continually working at it. His mind is shuffling his information at all times, even when he is not conscious of it. The presence of others can only inhibit this process, since creation is embarrassing. For every new good idea you have, there are a hundred, ten thousand foolish ones, which you naturally do not care to display.

We welcome Jeff Sampson to Buddhist on Fire. Jeff has a marvelous voice and has been a constant source of inspiration.

“...like being stuck inside a huge, haunted castle, straight out of Poe or Lovecraft, where nameless terrors await the unwary.”
--unknown

"Sampson produces an impressively wide variety of sounds; he can hum, croon, moan, chant like a Tibetan monk, chant like a Western monk, or sing high counter-tenor."
--Hannah Shapero

"...choir-like and haunting."
--Bill Binkelmann

"...an ethereal voice that floats like a specter."
--Matt Howarth

No one is anyone, one single immortal man is all men. Like Cornelius Agrippa, I am god, I am hero, I am philosopher, I am demon and I am world, which is a tedious way of saying that I do not exist.

- Jorge Luis Borges, The Immortal (1949)
