The third in a series of dark ambient releases based on voices provided by various citizens of stillstream. This one features the voice of Rebekkah Hilgraves as The White Rabbit, and Bill the Lizard.

The music is generated completely and exclusively from the voice of Rebekkah Hilgraves.

C.P. McDill:
All the music is generated from only 7 samples. All the weird sounds are indeed made completely from the samples, and no other sources.

I couldn't bring myself to make it light. Whimsical yet dark is my usual modus operandi. All in all I think it came to 22 tracks, and at least 25 processed sounds that I didn't use. Had to whittle it down. Only 1 sample got Paulstretched. The rest went through all kinds of other processing.

There was nothing so very remarkable in that; nor did Alice think it so very much out of the ordinary to hear the Rabbit say to itself

'Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!'

...but when the Rabbit actually took a watch out its waistcoat pocket, and looked at it, and then hurried on, Alice startled to her feet.

The second in a series of drone releases based on voices provided by various stillstream denizens. This one includes the voices of Crystal Dreams as The Caterpillar, and Pixyblink as Alice.

The music is generated completely and exclusively from the voices of Crystal Dreams and Pixyblink by Jack Hertz:

My original idea of trying to do a choral type piece didn't work well at all. So, I started playing around with the phase distortion tricks Steve Reich used on the "Come Out" album. That gave me the idea to do an abstract terrain kind of piece instead.

I used all the Caterpillar sound files, nothing else. Each file was looped wholesale, duplicated and stretched a bit to create a phased distortion track. Next, I did a lot of processing with Lexicon and N2O effects on each of the tracks. The final piece is all of the 14 samples offset and layered together to build a long drone scape.

The Caterpillar and Alice looked at each other for some time in silence: at last the Caterpillar took the hookah out of its mouth, and addressed her in a languid, sleepy voice.
'Who are you?' said the Caterpillar.
This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, 'I — I hardly know, sir, just at present — at least I know who I was when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.'
'What do you mean by that?' said the Caterpillar sternly. 'Explain yourself!'
'I can't explain myself, I'm afraid, sir' said Alice, 'because I'm not myself, you see.'
'I don't see,' said the Caterpillar.
'I'm afraid I can't put it more clearly,' Alice replied very politely, 'for I can't understand it myself to begin with; and being so many different sizes in a day is very confusing.'

The first of a series of drone releases based on voices provided by various stillstream denizens. This one includes the voices of Disturbed Earth as The Hatter, and Pixyblink as Alice.

The music is generated completely and exclusively from the voices of Disturbed Earth and Pixyblink.

Mystified is Thomas Park. The music of Mystified is mainly of an atmospheric nature. Sometimes for Thomas less is more, making his music ideal for listening while working, sleeping or doing other things. The music of Mystified especially explores texture, consistency, and a type of variety that could be called subtle. This is not the utopian ambient of the typical soundscape artist. It is serious music for serious people.

'Take some more tea,' the March Hare said to Alice, very earnestly.
'I've had nothing yet,' Alice replied in an offended tone, 'so I can't take more.'
'You mean you can't take LESS,' said the Hatter: 'it's very easy to take MORE than nothing.'
